Popped in for a quick pint and was greated by a very attractive friendly barmaid who explained what beers were on tap today I went for the stout which was lovely far better than the commercial stuff you get, I say myself down and enjoyed my pint in the comfort of a leather sofa and enjoyed the view.
Like some school reports - could try harder!Owners of a successful business will tell you - be friendly to new customers. On a Saturday night we walked into what could be a quite inviting pub with a good selection of beers. We were (not) welcomed by an unfriendly pair who seemed as interested as a wet weekend.No hellos no goodbyes.First and last time in this pub. Shame. At least the Wetherspoons next door have a modicum of enthusiasm, and cheaper beer.
